Make it pop with magenta!

Powerful magenta is becoming a big player in the color scene. Above, Felicity Hoffman with Desperate Housewives' costars Eva Longoria and Teri Hatcher wore this great dress to the Emmys not too long ago. I took notice of this gown, then I started seeing magenta everywhere. I think I am going to have to purchase something fun in this color.

Jennifer Garner looks sensational is this gorgeous floor-length Zac Posen, and the trendy bow on the DKNY runway and the chunky sweater on the Malandrino catwalk work this bright hue.
Of course, if you do have a sugar daddy, you could buy the hott heels below from Rene Caovilla for $1,245 (561-459-1712) and have the perfect magenta fashion statement. Yes, those are Swarovski crystals on the heels. Why would it be anything else?

I want this hair!

I have mentioned my love of the The Sartorialist blog, which you can find here. It's the best on-the-street fashion blog out there, and his photos seriously ROCK. One of the latest (and most commented on) is this one. Her hair is so amazing. I am definitely contemplating bringing this to my stylist to try to do the color and cut sometime soon.

Trying to find Kate's grey boots...

So many people enjoyed Kate Hudson's boots as much as I did so I scouted the e-shops to find them for you. Sadly, I did not find them, but I did find some other wonderful grey boots. (Most of these are from Nordstrom, but they had the best grey-boot selection!)

1: I think this one is as close to the style of Kate's, and they are my favorite. They lack the uber cute buttons down the side, but they are still darling with a similar toe and heel. (Steve Madden, Nordstrom, $159.95)
2. I love the fold over, the cute detailing and the look of the leather (Apepazza, Nordstrom, $289.95)

Here are a few fun metallic ones I found though I have heard that podiatrists (aka feet doctor) think that Jessica Simpson's shoes are the worst possible for your feet. I can see why.

Sarah Michelle: Must admit I have a slight obsession with these cute buckles.

Hilary Duff: I particularly like the way this little fashionista's boots curve up in the middle. If I had some good money, those shoes would be a good investment.
Ashley Olsen: Doesn't she look darling?! I want a pair of Wellies. I especially enjoy the new ones with cool patterns.
Sophie Ellis: PINK = too cute (notice grey, too - it's HOTT)

1. Carmen Electra 2. Kelly Ripa
Carmen Electra: I am totally not a fan of Carmen E. (I see her, and all I think is F.A.K.E.), but those boots I like!
Kelly Ripa: I kinda think the girl needs to put on some pounds as she usually has a major case of collar-bone-and-sternum-jutting-out, but this FABULOUS jacket disguises that a bit. Her boots just make this outfit superfab, but is that a brown bag next to her black boots?

So, fellow shoppers, what do you think of these boots? Do you own any? I admittedly need more - I only have a pair of English riding boots that I have had forever because I used to use them while actually riding a horse... Sadly, I don't get to use them for that much anymore, but they pretty much rock since they are in style.
