Dating Singles to the Holidays

It seems that the season of holidays obtains people thinking of dating like any other hour from the year. It also can be a very depressing time of the year if you don’t have that special single dating someone. Most people will let being single stop them from getting out and about in the hustle and bustle this holiday season. Instead, use this time of year as an opportunity to meet new people. There are all sorts of hidden opportunities during the Holidays that just aren’t there the rest of the year.

1. Go shopping! This is one of my favorite tips because malls and stores are packed with all kinds of people like no other time of the year. You have excuses to be in stores that normally you wouldn’t be in (guys think home stores, women think tools and gadgets). Use the opportunity to meet people by going shopping often this year. If you spot dating chat someone that you want to talk to then go ask for their opinion about something. Oh how sweet!

2. Grab a warm cup of coffee. Coffee shops are very popular this time of year. Who doesn’t love a cup of coffee, tea, apple cider, or hot chocolate when it’s chilly out? Make it a point to stop by your favorite coffee shop (or get a new one if yours isn’t popular) regularly. It is easy to strike up conversations at coffee shops because a lot of adultfriender people are there by themselves during their breaks. Standing in line is a great place to start chatting.

3. Throw a party. Sometimes people are timid about going to Christmas parties if they are single. First of all, don’t be, they are great places to meet people. Ask a friend to go along if you don’t want to go alone. Secondly, throw your own singles party. If you work or are around other single dating then hosts your own party. Tell them each to bring someone else who is single. You can have a theme such as dirty Santa or a tacky Christmas sweatshirt party.

4. Don’t date someone your normally wouldn’t just because it’s Christmas. It isn’t worth it and you’ll regret it after New Year’s! Just stay positive and work on your online dating skills this year so that you can have a meaningful relationship in years to come. Hey, that can be your resolution!

5. Never take someone on a first date to your office Christmas party. This will make your date (and you) uncomfortable. Make sure you are far enough along in your relationship to be able to be relaxed around each other.

Always go to office parties and events you are invited to by your friends and family. Even if you don’t end up online dating someone at every event you go to, you will feel so much better after getting out and being around people. Church events are also great places to go. Just whatever you do get out of the house this Holiday Season!
