GWYNETH PALTROW has vowed never to star in another big-budget Hollywood movie, insisting she would rather spend time with her family than be involved in a "horrible behemoth".
The SHALLOW HAL actress, who is currently pregnant with her second child, is horrified by the film industry's passion for blockbusters and insists the gap between independent arthouse projects and established studio extravaganzas is widening uncontrollably.
She says, "Hollywood films these days are just so bad.
"They used to be kind of good like TOP GUN or something, but now they're just terrible.
"So I can't imagine leaving my daughter for 14 hours and doing something like that.
"It's hard because I think the movie business is getting so polarised. On the one hand, you've got these tiny little art house movies that are the kind of things artists want to do, but they don't pay you any money to be in them and nobody goes to see them.
"Then you have these horrible behemoth things on the other side that seem to be getting more extreme."
