Exclusive look at the song 'Punjabi Mast Punjabi' from No Problem

Anees Bazmee is one man who needs no introduction in Bollywood. After having made (read 'churned') hits and superhits with films like No Entry, Welcome and Singh Is Kinng, the man is back with yet another comedy titled No Problem. It's a multi-starrer of the highest order. Bollywood Hungama caught up with Bazmee and had him reveal a bit more about the film and the song that has taken everyone's breath away. Its called... well... we will let the director do the talking. Over to Anees...

"The song in question is called 'Punjabi Mast Punjabi' and it goes as 'Kadh lamba chaudi chest, Chehra dekhe bole best, Waah waah jat di nawaabi, Punjabi mast Punjabi'. The best part about the whole song is that all the lead stars of the film are present in the song and all the males are dressed up as Sardars, whereas the fact is none of the character in this film is a Sardar! In all, the film has got 5 songs, including the title song. This song is totally different as it has 17 male actors (all dressed up as Sardars) with 150 'extras'."

"Shooting this song was extremely difficult as we had to manage so many people at the same time. We had flown in people from Punjab, especially to tie the pagdis, as we did not want to take any chances while tying the pagdis. We did not want to repeat the mistake that had happened in Singh is Kinng with the way the pagdi was tied."

"The location of this song in the film is supposed to be a restaurant in South Africa called 'Dhaba', whereas in real it was a set that was erected in Film City, which was a difficult task in itself! No Problem is basically a hard core commercial film, which bears the typical 'Anees Bazmee' mark. It has got oodles of fun, romance and action, comedy. Besides this, I cannot reveal anything more about the film."

"The USP of this film is its star cast. It's a very weird star cast yet a big one, consisting of heavyweights name like Anil Kapoor, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Kangna Ranaut, Paresh Rawal, Sushmita Sen, Shakti Kapoor, Mukesh Tiwari and others.

All the songs in the film are damn neat. The film boats of a great script. Lastly, there are no cameos in my film. The film will get completed in March and shall release around August."
