Angelina Jolie won't hurt Jen Aniston's feelings

Angelina Jolie deliberately cancelled an appearance at a pre-Oscars fundraiser co-hosted by Brad Pitt's ex-wife Jennifer Aniston last month, because she didn't want to hurt the Friends star's feelings, her brother James Haven has claimed.

Jolie, her boyfriend Pitt and Aniston were all due to attend the sixth annual Night Before charity event on the eve of the Academy Awards, but the Mr. and Mrs Smith stars were noticeably absent from the glitzy fundraiser, which was also attended by Hollywood superstars including George Clooney, Cameron Diaz, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.

And while Internet gossips claimed a pregnant Jolie and Pitt had pulled out of the event for fear of a showdown with Aniston, Haven insists the rumours couldn't be further from the truth.

He says, "Angie is an incredibly strong but also incredibly sensitive woman, and she would always be careful when another woman's feelings are concerned.

"She'd go out of her way to make sure there was no situation that would hurt another woman because of her, and I'm talking about a situation like one of Brad's ex partners or his ex-wife."

Pitt and Aniston were married for five years before splitting in January 2005. Less than three months later, Pitt began a relationship with Jolie, who he had met on the set of Mr. and Mrs Smith - but both stars denied media speculation of an affair, insisting they only got together after Pitt and Aniston separated.

Jolie and Pitt are now said to be expecting their second biological child, although reports have yet to be confirmed. They already have a daughter, Shiloh, and three adopted kids: Maddox, Pax Thien and Zahara.

Angelina Jolie admits that shes had a few close calls ever since taking on the role of UN goodwill ambassador.

The Mr and Mrs Smith star revealed that she has used some desperate tactics while paying a visit to danger spots the world over as part of her work for the UN.

Ive had close calls. Ive been in countries where people tried to take my passport Ive had to hide in a room because there were people outside who were dangerous, the Daily Express quoted her, as saying.

The actress also opened up about her political activism, insisting she was privileged to be able to work for a good cause.

As for political activism, Ive been educating myself on things that are happening around the world, she adds.

Its a privilege to be able to do it. I feel motivated to say or do something because Im in a position to do so.

However, she is clear that even her work as a UN ambassador and acting have to take a back seat when it comes to her children.

Obviously my priorities are my children. They are growing up. Ill be doing even less work because thats what I prefer to do, she said.

Im a mom first. I dont know if Im as much an ambassador as Im a citizen of the world. I just want to learn about the world and its cultures. Lastly, Im an actress.

Jolie is currently said to be expecting twins with partner Brad Pitt. The couple have one biological child Shiloh, and are three adopted kids Maddox, Pax and Zahara.

Brad Pitt thwarted what could have been a nasty catfight between his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston and his pregnant partner Angelina Jolie. The report from the national Enquirer claims that it was all Brad as Jen was primed and ready as was Jolie but Pitt thwarted what could have been a the nasty but exciting catfight.

The former “Friends” star was radiant in a short, sleeveless black dress and an insider noted: “She wasn’t going to back away from a showdown. “Some people at the party were even joking that there may be a special theme if they ended up in the same room – ‘There Will Be Blood!’”

Brad, however, decided that he had to step between them and prevent the potential explosion. “As you might expect, Brad was feeling really uncomfortable about Angelina and Jen meeting,” explained the insider.

Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie sighted in Bastrop County

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are rumored to be in Bastrop County on the set of a new movie.

They are supposed to be in Smithville, a town that calls itself ‘Texas best kept secret,’ but the secret of celebrity sightings may be out now.

Locals are buzzing about the movie, which Pitt is rumored to star in, but protective of the stars.
Star sightings abound in neighboring Bastrop though, where some claim to have spotted Jolie at a Wal-Mart.

“Well, I'm curious. And so we'll see how it comes out. I'm sure we'll get to see them somewhere somehow and that'll be fun, and that's an excitement that usually doesn't come to a town like us,” Smithville resident Sandy Hightower said.

The movie is called "Tree of Life." This isn’t the first time that Smithville has been a film star; the town was featured in the movie “Hope Floats”, which came out in 1998 and starred Harry Connick Jr. and Austinite Sandra Bullock.

The movie is listed to be in “pre-production” on the movie web site IMDB. According to that web site, the movie will also star Sean Penn, and is written and directed by Terrence Malick, who also and directed “The Thin Red Line.”

Brad Pitt confirms: 'We're having twins'

Angelina Jolie is pregnant with twins, her partner Brad Pitt has confirmed to friends.

After weeks of silence on the subject, Jolie's rounded belly on the red carpet of the Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday confirmed she was expecting.

Coinciding with Jolie's bump debut, excited dad Pitt has begun telling friends about their impending arrivals, the Mail Online has learned.

The couple are already adoptive parents to Cambodian Maddox, six; Ethiopian Zahara, three; and Vietnamese Pax Thien, four; and have a biological daughter Shiloh Nouvel, 21 months.

In preparation for the birth this summer, Pitt has been rescheduling his work so he has enough time to spend with Jolie and the children.

A friend of the couple tells the Mail Online: "Brad's been very quiet about this pregnancy so far but this was the weekend he decided to let the cat out of the bag. He's telling everybody close to him, because he's having to change around his work schedule to get ready for the birth.

"They're having twins, Angelina is healthy, and he's thrilled that he's going to be a father once again.

"They didn't exactly plan this pregnancy, but they wanted more children and Brad says Angelina was very willing to have them herself."

In contrast to the exotic birth of Shiloh in Namibia in 2006, Jolie is expected to undergo a more low-key birth in her native America.

The friend said: "They want to have these children in Los Angeles or New Orleans. I don't think Brad wants to isolate himself and the family again like he did when Shiloh was born.

"But he's also probably not going to take on a major acting role before the birth either, so he can focus on making sure Angelina is happy, healthy and comfortable."

Pitt will have a tough time balancing his work schedule with family life this year - he's signed up to star in five films, as well as produce seven other movies.

Jolie's pregnancy has ended recent reports the couple were planning to adopt another child to add their rapidly expanding brood.

Pitt has previously joked he wants enough children for his own football team.

Before she met Pitt on the set of Mr & Mrs Smith in 2005, Jolie said she thought she would only adopt children, but changed her mind when she was the actor interacting with her eldest son Maddox.

She said: "I believe I'm meant to find my children in the world and not necessarily have them genetically."

George Clooney speculates on Angelina Jolie’s pregnancy

Hollywood couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt didn’t attend the Oscars last night - but that didn’t stop speculation about the actress’ latest reported pregnancy.

The pair are yet to confirm the pregnancy - but, Jolie, 32, turned up to the Independent Spirit Awards Saturday showing off her baby bump in a figure-hugging black dress - which was enough to convince pal George Clooney.

“Well, there’s a lot of problems,” George, 46, tells Extra. “Either it’s a tremendous amount of gas which is just not likely. Really, not likely.”

Meanwhile, speaking to Ryan Seacrest on the Oscars red carpet last night, Jessica Alba - another pregnant actress - revealed she plans to breastfeed her baby.

The sexy star at first refused to reveal whether she will breastfeed, telling Seacrest: “That’s really personal.”

But then she gave and admitted: “Yes, it’s good for the baby.”

Jessica, who was accompanied by fianc?e Cash Warren, refused to give her due date. She would only say: “I’m kind of keeping that secret.”

Spinning Angelina Jolie and the Missed Meeting With Jennifer Aniston

The weekend didn't go well for Angelina Jolie. The mother of four should have been all set to debut her new baby bump to raving reviews, and she could have made quite the splash by attending the much-publicized meeting with Jennifer Aniston. Here is the woman that her fans claim is always willing to help out others skipping the party, even though dozens of other stars took the time out of their busy schedules to show up and help out. Jolie was in town, so where was she?
OK! Magazine appears to be ready to slam Aniston again and they try to build up Jolie with this tease. "Jennifer Aniston didn’t have to worry about crossing paths with her rival Angelina Jolie on Feb. 23 when she attended the annual Night Before party at the Beverly Hills Hotel."
Hmm, it doesn't sound like Jennifer was worried, she actually showed up. OK! slammed Jennifer two weeks ago when they believed that Jolie would show and Aniston would take a pass. Now that Jolie elected to skip the charity event they will need some very big leaps of logic to make Jolie look like she is the "good guy" in this little battle that everyone loves to keep going.
It's very simple, all were scheduled to appear and only Jennifer showed. Pitt and Jolie blinked and backed off. It is really going to take some work to spin that.

A source also revealed that despite rumours that Brangelina are expecting twins, the couple will only be welcoming one more child.
And, the source added that Jolie was especially thrilled that her baby would be a girl. “Angelina has been told she is expecting a girl. She’s thrilled,” The Sun quoted the source, as saying.
